If you encounter undesirable behavior or a violation of integrity, it is important that you discuss it with someone. Do the same if you have doubts about something you see or experience.
If you need help, you can contact a confidential advisor through the Integrity and Social Safety Desk. They will listen to you and treat your story confidentially.

How does it work?
The confidential advisor will schedule a meeting with you to discuss your question, concern, or suggestion, and if necessary, you will discuss what steps you might take. The conversation with the confidential advisor is confidential. If you decide to take action, you will proceed with these steps on your own. The confidential advisor will support you where necessary.
You can also contact the confidential advisors if you are considering filing a formal complaint regarding undesirable behavior or a violation of integrity.
The Integrity and Social Safety Desk is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If you contact them outside these hours, they will usually respond within 24 hours on weekdays. On weekends, they will respond on the next working day.

If a situation leads to a formal report, a sanction may be imposed. At that point, the comes into effect. This sanctions policy contains a list of possible sanctions for students and staff, such as a warning, temporary exclusion from educational activities, or suspension.
