Integrity and social safety

Social Safety

ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø aims to be a place where everyone feels comfortable and safe. By treating each other with respect and regularly discussing our well-being, we work together to create a socially safe environment. Because only in a safe environment can we learn, grow, and innovate together.

Integrity

In our university community, we place great value on handling knowledge, research, and collaboration with honesty and care. In this way, we all contribute to the reliability of science and of our university.

Core values and ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø Code of Conduct

Our core values— Curious, Open, Respectful, and Responsible (CORe)— form the basis for our conduct. We are actively committed to upholding these values and will continue to engage in dialogue with one another about them. Together, we ensure that ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø is a place where everyone feels safe, can grow, and contribute to a better future.

Our Code of Conduct describes how we interact with one another and how we work together, based on these core values. The ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø Code of Conduct is the foundation for all underlying regulations.

How can you contribute?

At ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø, we believe that a safe, respectful, and supportive community is a shared responsibility. You can contribute to this. For example, by being curious, open, respectful, and responsible when working together in a team. Or when you give someone feedback, or receive feedback. Or by being an active bystander who speaks up and calls others out.

If you want to learn more about this and find out how to put it into practice, sign up for one of our training sessions for staff and students.
