Roland Toth becomes IEEE Fellow

Recently it became official that Roland Toth of our Control Systems group got distinguished as a Fellow of IEEE, starting from 2026. Becoming an IEEE Fellow is IEEE鈥檚 highest honor. Roland received this honor because of his contributions to linear parameter-varying modeling, identification, and control.
An IEEE Fellow holds an elite distinction. This honor is only given to select IEEE members whose extraordinary accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest are deemed fitting of this prestigious grade elevation. The institute awards the honor to less than 0.1 percent of its members. Yearly, a select group of IEEE members is recognized as IEEE fellow.
