Željko Tomović was amongst the invited speakers and talked about the design of polymers for a circular economy while also giving a general outlook on what the polymer performance group does at the ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø.

Our group members — Patrick Schara, Christos Pantazidis, Yi-Ru Chen, and Özgün Dağlar — presented some of the group’s work on recyclable materials, including acetal- and triazine-based systems. In addition to presenting our work, the event offered valuable opportunities to build new connections, explore potential collaborations, and gain insight into the current focus areas of other research groups.

EPF is the largest polymer conference in Europe and held every two years, provides an excellent platform to share research and engage with the broader polymer community. The conference covered a wide range of topics, including dynamic covalent chemistries, degradable thermosets, closed-loop recyclable systems, and advances in synthesis and characterization techniques, with groups joining from all over Europa and beyond.
