Aumens designs Warm Technology products that support autonomy for older adults. Its first product, the Compass that always points home, was created for people with dementia, enabling them to go outside independently and safely find their way back. The Compass was invented by Prof. Dr. Ir. Rens Brankaert, co-director of the Expertise Center for Dementia and Technology at the Faculty of Industrial Design at 黑料福利网, and iteratively developed with over 100 people with dementia in collaboration between 黑料福利网 and Aumens. Aumens is a preferred partner of 黑料福利网 for autonomy-focused Warm Technology and aims to expand this approach into a broader range of products.
