Stay and explore your options after graduation
Your opportunities don't have to end when you graduate. Many international graduates choose to stay in the Netherlands and start their careers in the Brainport region.
If you're from an EU/EEA country, you can continue living and working in the Netherlands without needing a residence permit. Non-EU graduates may be eligible for the Dutch Orientation Year (Zoekjaar) residence permit. This permit allows you to stay in the Netherlands for up to one year after graduation to explore your next step, whether that's finding a job, starting a PhD or EngD program, or launching your own business. You can apply within three years of graduating, giving you flexibility as you plan your future.
