Our mission

Our mission is to create software that will help extend the lifespan of electrolyzers in industrial hydrogen production under variable energy supply to improve the outcomes of renewable-powered green hydrogen at a large scale.

Our challenge

Fluctuating energy input, as would be gained from using renewables, can accelerate electrode and membrane degradation, and an optimal way to mitigate this risk in operation is yet to be found. These parts use costly materials and manufacturing processes, making them very expensive to replace, dissuading the hydrogen production industry from moving to production through renewable powered electrolysis.

Our solution

Through physics based modelling and machine learning we aim to quantify electrode degradation mechanisms under different operational patterns. By creating a software platform tailored to industry use that quantifies electrode health and recommends optimal operation, we want to help balance changing electricity costs with electrolyzer health.

We want to join the 黑料福利网 contest as it is a great learning opportunity and motivation to expand the real world business applications of our idea. We are very excited for the networking opportunities given by the contest, and the workshops that will help take our team to the next level. Through this experience we hope to improve on effectively pitching and selling our idea from a business standpoint.
