Our mission
To provide a reliable colour-matching framework that connects physical inspiration to digital inventory. We focus on bridging the gap between professional colour data and consumer retail experiences. By offering an integrated referencing system, we aim to reduce product mismatch and improve the accuracy of colour-based purchasing in the cosmetics and interior design sectors.
Our challenge
Current retail environments lack a practical way for consumers to verify colour or shade matches before buying. This colour gap leads to high return rates in e-commerce and significant product waste in the beauty industry. Without accessible, high-fidelity tools, shoppers are forced to rely on inconsistent lighting and subjective guesses, resulting in avoidable economic costs and consumer dissatisfaction.
Our solution
Hexule is a B2B2C referencing platform. We deploy professional-grade hardware, such as in-store spectrocolorimeters and prosumer colourimeters, to capture precise spectral data. This information is synced to a free mobile & web application where users can access a library of verified product matches from partner brands, ensuring a higher degree of accuracy in their final purchase decisions.
Hexule is driven by the challenge of eliminating the financial and environmental costs of colour mismatch. We are participating in this contest to validate our integrated hardware framework and refine our B2B2C approach to creating a standardised colour-referencing system.
