Our mission

Our mission is to make batteries more sustainable and economically attractive by improving long-term performance retention. By reducing heat where it originates in the cell, we aim to slow degradation, increase reliability, and deliver a more favourable total cost of ownership (TCO) for manufacturers and end users.

Our challenge

Electrification is scaling, but lithium-ion batteries degrade quickly under high power, fast charging, and harsh duty cycles due to internal heat gradients. This accelerates aging, reduces reliability, and forces earlier replacement. With lithium supply constrained and costly, premature degradation directly drives up total cost of ownership, the core bottleneck to affordable electrification.

Our solution

We develop intra-cell cooling, a scalable thermal management approach that reduces internal hotspots at the source. By improving temperature uniformity, it slows heat-driven degradation and extends battery life. This reduces premature replacement and downtime, lowering total cost of ownership while decreasing demand for new cells and critical materials like lithium.
