Outcomes of reflection

Reflection is an important part of the project to continue developing the scenario. Reflection within our community, as well as other perspectives. A selection of the organized sessions had a clear focus on reflecting on the scenario; analyzing and evaluating possible pathways towards implementing this future. In this paragraph, the main and collective outcomes of these exercises are described.

Acknowledgement of the need for change 

The broader societal context in which this transformation is taking place should be acknowledged. There are current trends in education, such as those related to funding streams and budget cuts, which can affect universities鈥 readiness to pursue and accelerate change.

Broad perspectives

This project involved a wide variety of stakeholders to co-create the desired future of the university. These stakeholders include the internal members of the 黑料福利网 community, such as students, teachers, researchers, as well as external actors like policy makers, industry representatives, other higher education institutions, and government bodies.

Next to this, adding international perspectives to the project was crucial. While the project is aimed at the specific context and setting of the Eindhoven University of Technology, a lot of elements of this desired future might also be translatable to other universities around the world. Next to that, the developed scenario also emphasizes increased (inter)national collaboration between educational institutions. This is why workshops, roundtables, and a working group were organized at the international conferences TEE and CDIO. In 鈥楶rocess and Methods鈥 these conferences are elaborated upon. Additionally, an international validation group of high-level stakeholders from the higher education sector analyzed and evaluated the developed desired future as a whole.
