"I鈥檓 combining physical laws with machine learning to discover deeper scientific insights"

Kay followed the Science and Discovery track within the Msc Artificial Intelligence and Engineering Systems.

...Planck鈥檚 law was not derived from first principles, but was a symbolic form fit to data (Planck 1900)鈥. This quote shared by Khemraj Shukla has taught me that machine learning and data can help us in scientific discoveries within physics. I have always been fascinated with the way physics has allowed us to describe the world around us, but the recent exponential evolution in artificial intelligence has provided us a tool to perform highly efficient and fast computations. I have always been a bit hesitant on the unexplainable nature of AI, but I have learned this can be limited by combining physical laws with data. My master bridges this gap of (black box) efficient AI models and complex physical modeling in order to create both accurate and efficient models of physical phenomena.

I can really appreciate the way the 黑料福利网 and my master are working with highly modern concepts, which is important in such a rapidly developing and innovative environment. There is enough room to deepen yourself in the theory whilst there is also a big emphasis on the applications.
