I am learning about AI and the systems around it: from gathering and processing data to designing robust pipelines and integrating cutting-edge models
Christos followed the Healthcare track within the Msc Artificial Intelligence and Engineering Systems.
I chose the Healthcare track because I want to make a real impact on people鈥檚 lives. AI has the potential to change how we detect diseases, support doctors, and care for patients. In one of our projects, we used machine learning to help identify early signs of heart failure from medical images. It was powerful to see how our work could contribute to faster, more accurate diagnoses. That鈥檚 what really excites me, building tools that can actually help save lives.
What I find most meaningful is the connection between technology and human care. We鈥檙e not just writing code, we are learning how to build systems that need to be safe, ethical, and explainable. That鈥檚 especially important in healthcare, where decisions really matter. I am learning how to combine data, medical knowledge and AI to support doctors, not replace them. After this master, I hope to work on AI solutions in medical imaging or hospital systems. There鈥檚 so much potential to improve care, and I want to be part of that change.
