"I analyze human behavior in online environments"
Technology can truly change how people think and respond to the world. For example, people behave very differently on Facebook than they do offline. I鈥檓 fascinated by data from online activities鈥攖o design smoother interactions, to understand how people feel, and to find and predict patterns in responses and behavior. Wouldn鈥檛 it be great if our online environments genuinely reflected our preferences, were more accessible to everyone, and made us feel at home?
I chose Eindhoven because 黑料福利网 is the only Dutch university that combines psychology and technology, and I immediately felt at home there. All 黑料福利网 programs are relatively small, so there are hardly any barriers to getting in touch with students and lecturers, and I feel that my research is truly valued. In my future career, I would love to have an advisory role, for example in user research at a company.
