My name is Ivette, and I am a Renewable Energy Engineer from Mexico. During my master鈥檚 studies, I specialized in building energy efficiency and thermal comfort. After graduating, I worked for three years as a Building Performance Specialist in a Mexican consultancy, contributing to certification projects around the world.
Through both my academic background and professional experience, I realized that I wanted to do more than follow established protocols or check boxes to certify buildings鈥擨 wanted to actively contribute to sustainability in a way that made a tangible difference. In naturally ventilated and mixed-mode buildings, occupants often need guidance on when and how to use the available strategies, and a lack of timely action can lead to overheating. My goal is to bridge this gap by designing solutions that empower people to use these strategies effectively.
