EAISI Academy x Tommie Perenboom
At EAISI Academy, we often talk about impact. But sometimes, impact walks into the room and tells its own story. Former participant Tommie, working in Urban Management for the Municipality of Rotterdam, did exactly that.
In his department, 鈥渄oing more with less鈥� isn鈥檛 a catchy phrase on a slide. It鈥檚 the daily reality. Limited resources, complex challenges, and real people whose lives are affected by every decision. Together with his colleagues, Tommie works right at that intersection.
What stood out was how he bridges worlds. Using insights from our program, he takes data and AI out of the abstract and turns them into clear language, concrete choices, and action. Not technology for technology鈥檚 sake, but tools that actually make a difference on the streets of Rotterdam.
Listening to Tommie Perenboom, it became clear: impact doesn鈥檛 always look spectacular. Sometimes it looks like better decisions, smarter processes, and a city that works just a little bit better for its people.
