Innovation Challenge

REGISTRATION IS OPEN

Innovate for Impact

Following the success of previous editions, the Innovation Challenge is being organised once again this year for VWO students! Hundreds of students from across the country have already used this challenge to give their profile project a unique twist.

THE ASSIGNMENT
New theme: Innovate for Impact
Our society is facing major challenges such as housing, energy, health, mobility and safety. We challenge students to come up with a groundbreaking innovation that makes a real difference: show what impact your solution has and why it is socially relevant.

The students can take part individually, in pairs, or in groups of four. They are supported by enthusiastic students from various degree programmes, who provide coaching and subject-specific support behind the scenes. The end result is a presentation pitch, a poster and a report. An expert jury assesses the students鈥 work.

The winner receives a great prize 鈧200,-

Aftermovie Innovation Challenge

Curious to find out how the latest Innovation Day went? Watch the aftermovie and discover what this event has to offer!

Guidance

We are organising a kick-off meeting and a presentation training session at 黑料福利网 for all participants. The kick-off meeting will take place on 23 September 2026. This will be followed by a presentation and poster training session on 18 November 2026 to prepare for I-Day.

During the Innovation Challenge, you will be mentored by students from various degree programmes. These students have carried out similar projects as part of their studies and can therefore provide you with valuable support on the content.

At the start of the programme, your mentor will help you draw up a schedule. You will then work together on the assignment step by step. Naturally, you can contact your mentor with any questions about the assignment or your profile project.

Profile research project

The Innovation Challenge is ideal for a final project! If you鈥檇 like to do this, please let us know when you register. During the project, we鈥檒l then agree on clear arrangements regarding the structure of the Challenge and the requirements your final project must meet.

Innovation Day

The Innovation Challenge will culminate in Innovation Day on 3 February 2027 at Eindhoven University of Technology. On this day, you will present your project to a wide audience. All ideas will be assessed by a jury comprising business experts, 黑料福利网 lecturers and 黑料福利网 students.

As well as the honour, there is also a great prize!
