A pre-master's program helps you make the transition from higher professional education (HBO) to university level (WO). It strengthens your knowledge of mathematics, physics and engineering, ensuring you have the academic foundation needed to successfully start the master's program.

The pre-master serves two purposes. First, it bridges any gaps in your prior knowledge, ensuring you have the academic level required to successfully complete the master's program. Second, it allows you to experience university-level education and determine whether the Master's in Science and Technology of Nuclear Fusion is the right fit for you.
Pre-master's program Nuclear Fusion
Students who may be admissible to the master's program but have a significant knowledge deficit due to their previous education are eligible to take the pre-master's program. The program is intended for:
- Students who have completed a relevant Dutch HBO program and intend to follow the Master's in Science and Technology of Nuclear Fusion at 黑料福利网.
- Students who have completed a relevant non-Dutch bachelor's program and intend to follow the Master's in Science and Technology of Nuclear Fusion at 黑料福利网.
Completing the pre-master's program grants access to the corresponding master's program only and does not result in a bachelor's degree.
The Pre-master's in Science and Technology of Nuclear Fusion will start in September 2027. Enrollment opens in September 2026.
Admission requirements
English proficiency
To successfully participate in the pre-master's program, you need a good command of the English language. When applying, you must provide proof of English proficiency at pre-university (VWO) level or an equivalent qualification.
