Robotics

Within the Master's program, you can tailor your education by choosing one or more dedicated specializations. Each specialization is fully integrated within the 120 ECTS Mechanical Engineering master's program and will be recognized on your diploma supplement upon completion. You may also choose to graduate without a specialization.

Robotics prepares you to design, develop, and control the intelligent machines that are transforming industry and society. This specialization combines mechanical engineering, control systems, artificial intelligence, and computer vision to create autonomous and collaborative robotic systems that can operate in dynamic real-world environments.

You will gain expertise in robotics, motion planning, system dynamics, machine learning, computer vision, and human-robot interaction. Through hands-on experience in state-of-the-art facilities, including autonomous mobile robot arenas, dynamic manipulation setups, VR/AR teleoperation environments, and industrial testing platforms, you will learn to design, program, and optimize advanced robotic systems. Located in the heart of Brainport Eindhoven, the Robotics specialization connects you with leading researchers and high-tech companies, preparing you for impactful careers in automation, intelligent systems, and robotics research, where innovation is driving the future of technology.
