Within the Master's program, you can tailor your education by choosing one or more dedicated specializations. Each specialization is fully integrated within the 120 ECTS Mechanical Engineering master's program and will be recognized on your diploma supplement upon completion. You may also choose to graduate without a specialization.
High-Tech Systems (HTS) prepares you to design, model, and control the intelligent systems that drive innovation in modern high-tech industries. This specialization combines mechanical engineering, systems theory, control engineering, and data-driven methods to develop advanced solutions for sectors such as semiconductors, mobility, energy, healthcare, and automation.
You will gain expertise in control engineering, system dynamics, physical and data-driven modeling, and mechanical vibrations, while learning to integrate complex subsystems into high-performance products and technologies. Through hands-on experience in advanced facilities such as the Mobility Lab, Motion and Dynamics Lab, and Robotics Lab, you will apply theory to real-world challenges through experimentation, challenge-based projects, and industry collaborations. Located in the heart of Brainport Eindhoven, HTS prepares you for impactful careers in industry and research, enabling you to shape the future of intelligent high-tech systems.
