Advanced Manufacturing across the Scales

Within the Master's program, you can tailor your education by choosing one or more dedicated specializations. Each specialization is fully integrated within the 120 ECTS Mechanical Engineering master's program and will be recognized on your diploma supplement upon completion. You may also choose to graduate without a specialization.

Advanced Manufacturing across the Scales (AMS) prepares you to drive innovation in high-tech and sustainable manufacturing. This specialization combines materials science, advanced manufacturing technologies, and digital engineering to help you develop the products and systems of the future.

You will gain expertise in areas such as multiscale fabrication, computational modelling, optimization, digital twins, and multiphysics design. Through hands-on experience in the Microfab Lab, Multiscale Lab, and the upcoming AM Lab, you will learn to combine experimental and digital approaches to solve complex engineering challenges. Located in the heart of Brainport Eindhoven, AMS prepares you for impactful careers in industry and research.
