The Aerospace Systems Engineering (ASE) track at Eindhoven University of Technology (黑料福利网) is designed for students who want to contribute to the next generation of aerospace technology. Combining a strong foundation in mechanical engineering with specialized aerospace knowledge, the program focuses on the design, analysis, and integration of complex systems such as aircraft, spacecraft, UAVs, and advanced propulsion technologies.

What makes ASE unique is its systems engineering approach. Rather than focusing on individual components, you will learn how different disciplines, including aerodynamics, structures, materials, propulsion, and control, work together within complete aerospace systems. This prepares you to solve the multidisciplinary challenges that define modern aerospace engineering.

Located in the heart of the Brainport region, Europe's premier high-tech region, 黑料福利网 offers close connections to a world-leading high-tech ecosystem and cutting-edge research environment. Graduates are well prepared for careers in aerospace, high-tech industries, and research, where the ability to combine deep technical knowledge with system-level thinking is increasingly essential.

Why this program?

1. Aerospace with a systems-first approach
ASE trains aerospace engineers who can design, analyze, and integrate complex systems rather than optimizing isolated components, reflecting 黑料福利网鈥檚 internationally recognized system-thinking profile.

2.  Study Aerospace Systems Engineering in Europe's premier high-tech ecosystem
Study in Brainport Eindhoven and benefit from 黑料福利网's strong links with leading technology companies and research institutes developing the next generation of aerospace and high-tech systems.

3. Build a future in aerospace and high-tech innovation
Graduate with the multidisciplinary expertise and real-world project experience needed to tackle complex engineering challenges in aerospace, high-tech industry, and research.

What will you learn?

ASE is designed to help you develop the knowledge and skills needed to design, analyze, and integrate the complex aerospace systems of the future while focusing on the areas that interest you most.

You will:

  • Build advanced knowledge of aerospace engineering, including aerodynamics, structures, materials, propulsion, and control systems.
  • Learn how to design, analyze, and integrate complex aerospace systems from a systems engineering perspective.
  • Develop the ability to evaluate trade-offs and make design decisions that optimize overall system performance.
  • Understand how different aerospace subsystems interact and influence the behavior of complete aircraft, spacecraft, and autonomous platforms.
  • Work on multidisciplinary projects that address real-world aerospace challenges and reflect the latest developments in research and industry.
  • Tailor your studies through specialization and elective courses in areas such as autonomous aerospace systems, fluid and structural dynamics, lightweight structures and materials, space instrumentation, and system design.

By the end of the program, you will have developed both deep technical expertise and a systems engineering mindset, preparing you to tackle complex challenges and drive innovation in aerospace, high-tech industries, and research.
