Admission and Enrollment

Master or pre-Master?

Fill out the scheme below to see whether you can be admitted directly to the Industrial Design Master's program or whether you must complete a pre-master's program first. The Departmental Admissions Board of Industrial Design (ID) determines an applicant鈥檚 admission to the ID (pre-)master program. The committee evaluates your prior education, professional experiences, as well as knowledge and skills gained in auxiliary activities such as personal projects or extracurricular courses.

Based on this 'evidence', the board will decide whether you will be admitted directly to the master program, or start in the pre-master first to work on your deficiencies, or whether you are not eligible for the program. Therefore, we will ask you to submit additional information about your previous education. Given the fact that more parties are involved in this process, and the departmental admission board only meets once a month (October - July), we encourage you to start the application process as soon as you can and prepare the required documents in time.
