RESEARCH AREAS

Our researchers work on technologies that address major societal challenges across three research focus areas:

  • Communication (Photonics and Wireless): Addressing the growing demand for data and digital infrastructure through photonic and microchip technologies, high-speed wireless networks, optical communication systems, and future 6G technologies
  • Cyber-Physical Systems: Designing intelligent systems such as smart electricity grids, autonomous robots and vehicles, and connected industrial systems that can operate safely and efficiently in the real world
  • Signal Processing and Imaging: Improving healthcare and sensing technologies through applications such as medical imaging, diagnostics, patient monitoring, and intelligent data analysis
