Artificial intelligence is a rapidly developing field, but its unpredictable nature has made it difficult to apply it properly in real-world systems, where reliability is key. This intersection is exactly the focus of the Systems and Artificial Intelligence track. In this track, you will explore how to harness the power of artificial intelligence to create systems can provide guarantees on aspects such as runtime performance, safety, security, resource usage and behavioral correctness, so you can research and develop the intelligent systems of the future.
Along the way, you'll develop the knowledge and skills to design, analyze and evaluate AI-enabled systems that operate under real-world constraints such as runtime performance, resource constraints, reliability, safety and security.
This track is offered in two variants: ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø single-degree and ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø - TalTech double-degree.

ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø - TalTech double-degree variant: Jointly offered by Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands (ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø) and Tallinn University of Technology in Estonia (TalTech). If you choose the double-degree, you will spend one academic year at each university.

What will you learn?
This track focuses on the interaction between artificial intelligence and the systems on which it operates. Throughout the program, you develop expertise in designing systems for AI as well as applying AI techniques to improve system behavior and performance. You learn about distributed systems, Internet of Things, edge computing, autonomous systems, performance evaluation, explainable intelligent systems, resource-aware computing, and trustworthy AI.
