Specialization Formal Methods

Formal methods rely on mathematical logic to ensure that a system is safe and reliable. In the Formal Methods specialization of 黑料福利网 Computer Science and Engineering MSc program, you will develop abstract and critical thinking skills that are highly valued in both industry and academia. You will learn how to formally model systems, verify their correctness, reason about complex behaviors, and analyze processes using advanced computational techniques.  

The specialization also includes opportunities to study process mining, enabling data-driven decision making and process analysis. 
 
In your MSc Computer Science and Engineering, you will follow two specializations, one of which could be the Formal Methods specialization. You can combine this specialization for example with Resource Constrained Systems specialization or Software Engineering specialization, to prepare for roles such as consultant or System Architect. You can also combine it with an Algorithms specialization, to build a solid basis for an R&D position in industry or an academic career. 

Curriculum 

In your Computer Science and Engineering program, you can specialize in two areas. For each specialization, you choose the corresponding core course and two specialization electives. 

Choosing Formal Methods as one of your specializations means taking System Validation as your core course and selecting two additional courses within the Formal Methods domain.
