Curriculum 

In your Computer Science and Engineering program, you can specialize in two areas. For each specialization, you choose the corresponding core course and two specialization electives. 

Choosing Data Engineering as one of your specializations means taking Engineering Data-Intensive Systems as your core course, together with the two specialization courses that form the specialization path

Elective courses give you the flexibility to tailor your profile and further develop your knowledge. 

These courses cover the efficient implementation of database components, the development of complex big-data applications, and the methods used to capture, clean, integrate, and model knowledge in data-driven organizations. 

This specialization offers a path to graduate with the Databases group in the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence cluster (DAI-DB).
