WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

Artificial Intelligence & Engineering Systems (AI&ES) is a next-generation Master鈥檚 program designed for students who want to leverage AI to transform engineering systems and address complex societal challenges. The program offers a strong foundation in machine learning, data-driven decision-making, human-AI interaction, and core engineering principles. This integrated approach enables graduates to design, develop, and implement real-world AI solutions across a wide range of applications.

The program is built around three core knowledge domains that underpin its intended learning outcomes: 

  • Systems Engineering: equips you with the skills to model, analyze, and design complex engineering systems in which AI plays a central role. 
  • Data and Algorithms: focuses on developing expertise in machine learning, data analysis, and algorithmic thinking, forming the technical backbone of AI-driven solutions.
  • Human-AI Interaction and Ethics: emphasizes the responsible design and deployment of AI, preparing students to consider usability, transparency, and societal impact.
