What will I learn and do?
You develop a deep understanding of the physical properties of nanomaterials and their applications in semiconductor devices. You study topics such as semiconductors, spin systems, 2D materials, and organic and molecular materials while gaining experience with advanced characterization techniques and computational methods.
Throughout the specialization, you learn how to connect fundamental physics with practical applications. You gain hands-on experience with advanced experimental methods, including nanomaterial synthesis and characterization, computational modelling and data analysis. Along the way, you develop the skills to tackle complex scientific and technological challenges, preparing you for careers in academia, research institutes and the semiconductor industry.
