f - How is my ranking decided?
Your ranking number is determined based on several selection criteria.
The ranking is established using:
(a) your grade point average (GPA); and
(b) the results of one or more tests and/or assignments that are part of the program's selection procedure.
Exception: for the Mechanical Engineering program, the ranking is based solely on the results of the selection tests. Your GPA is not taken into account.
The results of the different components are first converted into comparable scores. These scores are then combined into a single total score. For most programs, both your GPA and the results of the tests and/or assignments contribute to this total score. The ranking is based on the total score: the candidate with the highest total score receives the highest ranking number.
