Intro Week

Program

Hi future ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø student!

You are probably here to explore the activities of the intro week. Our program is filled with fun, informative, and exciting events and activities designed so you can get to know the campus, your peers, the city, the associations, and the facilities that the university has to offer. This will happen by exploring, participating in workshops, partying, socializing and much more!

The ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø intro 2026 will take place from Monday, August 17th, to Friday, August 21st. On August 26th, the Vibes student festival will take place. Entrance is included in your Intro Week registration.

Monday August 17th

On Monday all intro participants will get a warm welcome on the Limbopad by student-, sports-, and culture-associations. This will give you a taste of all the different associations that you can sign up for. Afterwards you will register, and get your intro-shirt and wristband. After the essentials are in your possession, there will be some small games to get to know the other students in your intro group and your intro-parents. These will be the people with which you will spend most of the week.

Then it will be time for a break, after which you will explore the campus during the Campus Quest. This exploration phase in the quest will lead you to all sorts of spots and facilities and will help you find your way around later. The exploration phase is followed by the building phase, where you will build a study-related construct together with your Intro group.

After all this exploring you must be hungry! Dinner will be served by your study association, but don’t hang around too long or you’ll miss the official opening of the 2026 ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø Intro week! Monday will end with the opening party, or with one of the activities hosted at the Tangent Track. These activities are hosted by students for intro participants that aren’t interested in the parties but still want to have a great night together with others.

Tuesday August 18th

Rise and Shine! We start the day off with a joint start on the festival field, where we start off with some morning gymnastics to get you through the day. Then it is time for the final stage of the campus quest, the testing phase, where you put your built construct to the test. After the break the Campus market will take place, now is the opportunity to check out all the associations that you can sign up for. There will be lots of activities hosted by the associations and they will of course be able to answer all your questions. This is the moment to discover where you will feel at home during your student life. New this year: the Campus Lounge. Here you can get to know the various associations in a relaxed setting, without the crowds of the regular campus market.

The evening program starts with dinner at your intro parents’, where you will get a good feel of the Eindhoven student life at home. The night ends with a party at your study association or participating in fun activities during the Tangent track.

Wednesday August 19th

This day is all about workshops. Sign up for workshops from associations that you find interesting, and discover if they are really something for you. After the workshops, you will have some time to freshen up, but not too long, because the evening program starts soon!

Dinner will once again be provided by your study association. After that, it's time for an evening out on Stratumseind, the longest nightlife street in the Netherlands. Join the pub crawl! There are also Tangent track activities available again today.

Thursday August 20th

The final joint start of the week, and what a start it is! Today kicks off in the Philips Stadium, home to one of the biggest football clubs (and current champions) in the Netherlands: PSV! Afterwards, you will explore the city. Check the map in the app and let your intro parents guide you to the highlights of Eindhoven. Discover the largest

indoor skatepark in the Netherlands, have a laugh with a comedian, uncover the history of Philips, and compete against each other in various gaming challenges. Here too, you have complete freedom to seek out the more low-key spots during Explore at Ease.

Before dinner, the All ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍøgether festival begins with music, drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere. But if you don't feel like partying just yet, you can also kick back at the activities of the Tangent Track. Dinner is provided by student associations on the festival grounds. After that, the party really erupts during the WordLid! Party, organized by sports and student associations. Well-known artists and Eindhoven student bands will be performing. The program comes to a spectacular end at midnight. After that, it's up to you to honor the tradition of ‘doorhaal donderdag’ (all- nighter Thursday)!

Friday August 21st

To end this unbelievable week together with your study association and your intro group, there will be one final breakfast after which the only thing that rests to do is savor the memories made.

/

Wednesday August 26th

Had a good rest after all the Intro week activities, and already miss your fellow students? Prepare for a music bingo and a festival with students from all over Eindhoven; from Fontys, Summa, Sint Lucas, and De Rooi Pannen! Entry for the festival is included in your Intro week registration.

Tangent Track

To make the introduction week unforgettable for everyone, there is the 'Tangent Track' this year. During this week, we welcome a diverse group of students, many of whom may not only be looking for parties, but also for moments of relaxation and tranquility. That's why we have decided to offer an alternative during all festivities for those who prefer a more leisurely pace.

This year, alongside the parties, there will also be various activities available within the 'Tangent Track'. Think of board game evenings, art workshops, and other relaxing activities. So, there is something suitable for everyone. Whether you're not much of a

party animal or simply in need of an evening with a more laid-back atmosphere, we encourage you to participate in one of the many alternative activities that the 'Tangent Track' has to offer!

This year, the Tangent Track is being expanded once again. For instance, Explore at Ease is a new addition, where you can explore Eindhoven at a leisurely pace and discover the best niche spots. There is also an alternative to the campus market, offering a low-stimulus option where associations enthusiastically tell participants about their association and activities.

So, if you're looking for a well-deserved break or just want to enjoy a more relaxed experience during the introduction week, don't hesitate to participate in our 'Tangent Track'.

Let's make sure everyone has a fantastic introduction week, regardless of their preferences or interests!
