General Master Kick-Off
WHEN DOES THE MASTER KICK-OFF TAKE PLACE?
The Master Kick-Off takes place on August 24, 25, and 26.
WHO IS THE MASTER KICK-OFF FOR?
The Master Kick-Off is for all first-year (pre-)master鈥檚 students at Eindhoven University of Technology, as well as master鈥檚 students who have switched programs. If you have not been admitted to the program, you cannot participate in the Master Kick-Off.
WHAT IF I CAN鈥橳 BE PRESENT ALL THE TIME?
If you are unable to attend certain parts of the Master Kick-Off, you can send an email to intro@tue.nl including your name, study program, and student number.
CAN I REGISTER FOR BOTH THE MASTER KICK-OFF AND THE INTRO WEEK?
Yes, absolutely. During the Intro Week, there are several activities that are not part of the Master Kick-Off. Especially for students who are new to Eindhoven, participating in the Intro Week can be a valuable addition to get to know the city, fellow students, and the campus. Unfortunately, due to practical reasons, we cannot guarantee that all master鈥檚 students will be placed in a group with fellow master鈥檚 students.
Is the Master Kick-Off mandatory?
No, the Master Kick-Off is not mandatory. However, the Master Kick-Off is a great way to meet the life of a master student and gain information about your studies, work industry and department. On top of that, there are parties and a new event called the Interfaculty Tournament, where you will play games against other departments. Therefore, we highly advice you to take part in the Master Kick-Off, even if you have already participated in the Bachelor Introduction Week when you started your Bachelors at 黑料福利网.
IS MY LATE ARRIVAL A PROBLEM?
No, luckily arriving late is not a problem. In the app, you will find the opening hours and location of the CIC-office. Once you arrive, you should report yourself there, as the organisation can give you your wristband.
IS THERE A LOWER FEE FOR LATE ARRIVALS?
No, the fee of the introduction activities is the full fee, even if you arrive late.
