Studielink is the official national web portal for application and enrollment at Dutch higher education institutions. Think of it as the central gateway: you will use it to submit your initial application requests for higher education programs, manage your enrollment status, and track your progress throughout the admissions cycle.

Registering involves a few key steps. Depending on your background, your setup method will differ slightly at the very beginning.

Step 1: create your account

• Choose your login method:
  • Dutch residents: Log in and authenticate your account securely using your DigiD.
  • International applicants: Select the option to Create a Studielink account without DigiD.
• Match your official records: Enter your personal details exactly as they appear on your valid passport, European ID card, or Dutch municipal records. Name discrepancies can cause processing delays.
• Verification: Depending on your route, you may need to upload a scan or clear photo of your passport/ID. Keep a mobile phone handy as well, as Studielink uses SMS two-factor authentication (2FA).

Step 2: submit an enrollment request

• Log into your new dashboard and search for your chosen institution and specific study program.
• Select your correct start date (typically September) and submit your enrollment request.
• Note: you can track multiple applications from your central dashboard.

Step 3: watch your inbox (and portal dashboards)

• Submitting your request in Studielink is only the beginning. Shortly after, you will receive automated emails from both Studielink and our university's admissions team.
• We will invite you (by email) into our institutional student portal (where you will need to upload supplementary documents, such as previous transcripts, diplomas, or language test scores if applicable).
• Important: keep a close eye on your spam folder and check both your Studielink messages and 黑料福利网 messages.
