These courses are free of charge.
The intensive summer course is especially popular among international students, as it offers a fast and immersive way to make quick progress at the start of your studies.

You don鈥檛 need any prior knowledge to join. Courses are designed for complete beginners and help you start using Dutch from day one.
Dutch in Summer - course overview
The course is open to international Bachelor鈥檚 and Master鈥檚 students.
- Registration: June 1 鈥� July 15, 2026 (via the )
- Course dates: August 3 鈥� August 15, 2026
- Location: On campus
- Schedule: 2 hours of classes per day + approximately 3 hours of self-study per day
- Exam: August 15, 2026 (on campus)
You will receive your course book on the first day of class.
Costs and conditions for the Dutch in Summer course
- The course is free of charge
- A 鈧�30 non-refundable administrative fee is required to cover the course book (only for Dutch in Summer, for other courses you have to buy the book yourself)
- As spots are limited, admission is based on first-come, first-served registration (including payment completion)
Important note
This is an intensive course. To keep up, you are expected to actively participate and study consistently throughout the program.
Can鈥檛 join in August?
If you are unable to attend the summer course, you can also join Dutch language courses offered throughout the year, free of charge for students.
Registration for SFC500 Dutch for Beginners I (offered four times per year) is available via Osiris.
